Scotch Cap Mountain is a peak in the village of Piopolis, near Lac-Mégantic. Its name comes from its unusual shape, which resembles a Scottish cap. Scotch Cap is a popular viewpoint in the region: from the summit, one can see the Appalachian Mountains as well as several lakes—Lac des Joncs, Lac des Araignées, and Lac Mégantic.
